    Back Massage

    S E R V I C E S

Here are some of the services I offer and the benefits to you of the different treatment modalities.

    Sports Massage

Sports massage was developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Contrary to what the name suggests you don't have to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage helps prevent and heal injuries to muscles, tendons and ligaments. It can also be beneficial for people with chronic pain or restricted range of movement.

    Cupping Therapy

Cupping is an ancient therapy that uses cups placed on your back to create a negative pressure, allowing blood to flow much more freely through your body than previously. This non-invasive treatment is great for improving the health of your vital organs and reducing swelling and pain caused by inflammation.

We find cupping is great for the following:

    • Relaxation

    • Reduce Muscle Tension

    • Increase Range of motion

    Paraffin Wax

Paraffin wax may be used to help relieve pain in the hands of people with:

    • osteoarthritisTrusted Source

    • rheumatoid arthritis

    • fibromyalgiaTrusted Source

    • other joint mobility issuesTrusted Source

It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. Paraffin wax can also minimize muscle spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains.

    Rock Tape

RockTape microscopically lifts the skin away from the muscle and fascia below to decompress the area, reducing swelling and inflammation, and aids in speeding recovery. Turn Down the Volume on Pain. RockTape stimulates the nerve endings and receptors in the skin to alter the signals of pain that are sent to the brain, to 'turn down the volume on pain' and delay fatigue.
